Ilford XP2 SUPER
A sharp, fast, fine grain black and white film that ensures excellent results, especially when there is a wide subject brightness range.
Very easy to process, as it is a black and white film which is processed in C41 type processing chemicals, alongside colour negative films.
Negatives are printed on black and white paper, in the same way as conventional black and white negatives. XP2 SUPER has extremely wide exposure latitude and can be pushed up to ISO 800.
If you are starting out in monochrome photography, I recommend you go with Ilford FP4; this is a good general purpose film and will still give you exceptional results even though you may not know how to set your camera properly in the early days!
All of these films (and a whole lot more) are stocked in the filmcamera999 shop here.
