Anybody want to join me in Vancouver?

For some time now, I’ve been thinking about getting involved with design, art, advertising and suchlike.

As regular readers will know, I have a love of art and design…ok, so I may not be very good at it myself, possibly even useless, but I’m one better than someone who has neither love of, nor is any good at it! If we can get enough capable minds together, then the rest is plain sailing. And the idea is to enjoy ourselves…of course the need to make a living is of prime importance too, but why not make a living AND enjoy ourselves at the same time? Making a living as opposed to making a killing!

So what do I have in mind? well, …er…I’m not actually quite sure yet! That’s why I’m inviting like-minded people to join me, so that we can sit together, share ideas, suggest things, and at the end of it all, come out with something solid.

Maybe use our photography as a base to create an advertising agency. Or integrate it into producing adverts for TV or film audiences. Or possibly use film and/or digital photography to build connections with people’s hearts, not
just their minds by creating and delivering
great visual content, whether it’s TV ads, events, Facebook
apps or posters. Produce something will move, entertain, inspire
and surprise audiences who see it. And I want to do that in Vancouver, right smack bang in downtown (well, ok, maybe not right away), where the action always is and always will be!

All that needs to be done is to rent some premises, I know of many available right now in Vancouver, get the right minds together, and hey! presto! it all comes together. Does that make sense?

I’m looking at starting, or at least making the primary moves, sometime towards the end of this year, or possibly early 2014….plenty of time to suss out everything. At the moment, it’s just all in the air, but I get the feeling if I don’t act on these hunches, then what’s the point of living…..if the guy who had an idea of inventing a wheel did nothing but think about it, and then forgot all about it, where would we be today? You get the drift…

Anybody interested please contact me either here via a comment, or if you want to do it surreptitiously (and who doesn’t!), via email harsum888 at yahoo dot com
