Just received a comment from a fellow film user regarding my article about the Zorki today.
Here’s what she says:
“Prior to the Zorki, I’d only really worked with my Pentax K1000, which has a very reliable built-in light meter. I really didn’t know quite what to do with the Zorki at first. Then I realized that, as you said, it really forced me to slow down and think more about how to get the shot that I want. I learned so much in a short time about exposures and framing (also my first time working regularly with a prime lens – I’d had a zoom on the Pentax). I really credit it with improving my skills over the past few years that I’ve had it. Such a great little camera.”
